Meet the Doctor!

Dr. Houssam Elchekha grew up in Damascus Syria and has lived in Michigan, Florida, New York, and Virginia. He earned his degree in dentistry from Damascus University in 1994 and completed his General Residency at Columbia University in New York City in 2011. Dr. Elchekha was subsequently awarded an AEGD Certificate (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) from Columbia University. He also completed mini residencies in implant dentistry at UCLA and in Tempe Arizona. Since 2012, he has practiced as a Dentist in Virginia. 

Dr. Elchekha enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially likes educating patients about oral health and making his patients feel confident about their smiles. He strives to make the dental office his patients’ favorite place and to help them take care of the gift that oral health is. 

He lives in nearby Menomonee Falls with his wife, Zaynab, and three active children. When he’s not in the office, he can be found spending time with family, reading, swimming, or drawing. He is a fan of FC Barcelona (soccer), and his favorite travel destinations are Spain, Turkey, and Morocco. 

Dr. Elchekha has participated in volunteer work in Arizona and also in the Dominican Republic. His philosophy is “Work for this world as if you will live forever, and work for the hereafter as if you will die tomorrow.” His professional ethic is “Do it right the first time.” Dr. Elchekha would enjoy getting to know all about you as his patient.
